The charming “Haus Schwarzwaldmädel” is located in the climatic spa resort of Schluchsee. It is situated on the largest Black Forest lake within the Southern Black Forest National Park, which is a paradise for ramblers. Our many regular guests love their “Schwarzwaldmädelhaus” because of its exquisite location and facilities, and because of the special care and attention for our guests and the house.

Your sunny holiday home is located in a quiet, yet central, location in one of the best residential areas of Schluchsee, only a short distance from the forest.

The lake and the heated lido are just a 10-minute walk away. Winter sports enthusiasts enjoy proximity to the cross-country ski run (approx. 200 m). Ski lifts can be accessed within a few minutes – an attractive floodlit family lift in Schluchsee and more lifts in neighbouring towns. The large Feldberg mountain with its drag and chair lifts is a 15-minute car journey away or can be conveniently accessed by shuttle bus.

Sailing, hiking, scuba diving, skiing and sledging, playing tennis, swimming, painting, horse riding, mountain biking and many more activities await you. Our younger guests are thrilled to participate in the many activities we offer in the children’s holiday programme. Those who are self-catering will find a good assortment of shops directly in the town. In Schluchsee and the surrounding area there are exceptional, cosy inns ready to spoil you with their famous, fine Baden cuisine.

Discover within the surroundings the picturesque Freiburg with its numerous small shops, Lake Constance with its attractive islands, Mainau and Reichenau, culinary Alsace or the impressive Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen. Your children will really enjoy a trip to Europa Park in Rust. A trekking tour with donkeys, ponies or on the back of a real Arabian horse is an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
